Jay Spencer's Professional Background

Real Estate Services – Provide real estate services to the public specializing in residential and commercial real estate in Southwest Michigan. I am the Broker/Owner of US Home and Realty and Lifetime Realty Services, LLC. I represented New Vision Homes, a site ready, custom-built home development company. I have provided property management services for residential and commercial rental properties, which included: collecting and accounting of rental income, scheduling and expensing repairs and maintenance and communicated with tenants and owners for the profitable operation of the properties. Commercial Real Estate Services – Responsible for site evaluation and selection; lease negotiation and execution; Project and acquisition agent management and supervision; site status tracking and client updating; zoning evaluation, processing and presentations. Founder and Managing Principal of Sunset Services, LLC a Michigan licensed real estate broker and consulting company. Services have been provided for: Nextel, CenturyTel (f.k.a. Century Cellunet), Sprint, AT&T Wireless/Cingular, Omnipoint/VoiceStream, Vertical Partners, Richland Towers, UNIsite and SDS Wireless/MIOP. [May, 1997 to Present]

Title Insurance Services – I have been responsible for the production of title insurance commitments and policies for residential and commercial real estate transactions. I also prepared documents and facilitated residential and commercial real estate closings. I supervised the residential closing department and preformed commercial closings. I was responsible for the daily operation of two profit centers for one of Michigan’s largest title insurance agents. I made risk appropriate underwriting decisions in commercial and complex residential transactions. [April, 1983 to July, 1996]

Jay Spencer's Personal Information

I have been married to Nichole since May, 1993. We have two children (Drew - 9 and Morgan - 7). We live in the Northview School District in a home that we had to completely rehab; after living on Grand Rapids' SE side for 12 years.

I like to read (main biographies and non fiction), listen to music (all types except opera and old country), travel (usually to look as some historical place or home OR to watch a sunset), golf (I wish I was better), try different beers and wine, water ski (I was much better when I was younger) and to spend time with my family!!
